Gregory W. Hartman
Greg Hartman has been involved in the creation of a collaboration between Seton, the University of Texas at Austin and UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas to bring translational medical research to Austin. He is also helping lead efforts at the University Medical Center Brackenridge to continue its proud history of serving the community while also developing into a leading teaching hospital. That work includes both the teaching hospital and the Clinical Education Center, an interdisciplinary education facility for physicians, nurses and professionals engaged in public health, bio-engineering, informatics, social work and pharmacy. He also supervises planning, marketing, public relations and communications activities for the Seton Family.
Before joining Seton, Greg worked around the nation as a consultant for public affairs and political relations, communications, marketing, advertising and strategic planning. He was a Managing Director for Public Strategies, Inc., and previously a Senior Partner with MGT of America, a management consulting and research firm. He served as Executive Assistant and Director of Communications for former Texas State Comptroller John Sharp, where he helped create and direct the Texas Performance Review, a program analyzing state government operations to search for efficiencies, innovations and new service delivery opportunities.
Greg is an active volunteer with the Austin Independent School District, where he has assisted the district with several bond proposals and elections, as well as serving as the Chair of the Citizens Task Force on Boundary Re-Assignment.

Katherine C. Henderson
Kate joined Seton in 2007 as vice president of Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services. She led several multidisciplinary network performance improvement initiatives that have helped Seton achieve outstanding fiscal stewardship. Previously she was an administrative fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation; a Health Services administrator in Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Iowa Health Care, and director of Radiology Services at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. She holds a Bachelor's degree in biology from Iowa State University and a Masters of Hospital Administration from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Central Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a graduate of the Leadership Seton Executive Training program.

Thomas Caven M.D.
Dr. Tom Caven graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, B.A. Plan II Honors Program. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he was an AOA. graduate. Postgraduate training followed at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas (affiliated with UT Southwestern), and he also served as Chief Resident. In 1983 he began a private practice in Family Medicine in Austin, and in 1989 he joined Austin Diagnostic Clinic where he served on the Board of Directors. He was a founding member of Travis Physician Associates in 1994, helping develop it into a large primary care group which merged with a Seton based primary care group to form Seton Health Partners in 1998.
Since 2001, he has been VP Medical Affairs and Medical Director at Brackenridge Hospital, a member of the Seton Family of Hospitals. He also serves as the Vice President for Seton Clinical Research, and in this capacity supports clinical research activities throughout the Seton Network. Additionally he chairs the board of the Seton Medical Group, a 501a corporation, and is the physician member of the Seton Network Risk Assessment Committee, performing risk assessment and medico-legal analysis.
He serves on the External Advisory Committee of the UT School of Biomedical Engineering, and was a charter member of the Texas Human Rehabilitation Consortium, a multi-institutional collaborative between UT Austin, University of Texas Medical Branch, the Seton Healthcare Network, and others.

Leah May, RNC, MSN
Leah joined Brackenridge in 1978 as a staff nurse after graduating from the Brackenridge Hospital School of Nursing. She has served as charge nurse, head nurse, clinical manager and Director of Acute Care Services at UMCB. Leah has been active in the broader nursing community, serving as president of the local chapter of the Texas Nurses Association and as a delegate to the TNA House of Delegates for several years. She was named a Capital Area TNA "Fabulous Five" nurse in 1995. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and currently serves on the Breast Cancer Resource Center board. Leah is a member of the Austin Community College Nurses and Continuing Education Healthcare Advisory committee and the Crisis Services Implementation Committee a community collaborative to address limited mental health services.
