Mark Hazelwood

Mark Hazelwood leads the three hospitals included in the North Market for the Seton Family of Hospitals. Prior to joining Seton in 2003, he spent 28 years in the energy industry in various executive management positions responsible for U.S. midstream operations, U.S. crude oil, natural gas and NGL marketing, world-wide government and industry affairs, planning, finance and legal matters pertaining to litigation, taxation and oil and gas transactions.

Early in his career, he practiced law at Vinson & Elkins. After leaving the energy industry and prior to joining Seton, he served as president and CEO of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce from 2000 through 2002.

Mark also serves on several civic, philanthropic and business organization boards. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Michelle L. Robertson, RN

Michelle Robertson was licensed as an RN in 1989 and began her practice in Austin as a pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital of Austin. A longtime leader with the Seton Family of Hospitals, she supervised multiple departments within Seton including Patient Safety, Clinical Outcomes Research, Case Management and Social Work and Infection Control. She has been instrumental in the expansion of Seton Family care into Williamson County. Michelle is a member of the United Way of Williamson County Board as well as the Hospice Austin Board. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Nursing and from the University of Colorado with a Master of Business Administration.

Vice President Medical Affairs

V. Hugh Gilmore, MD

Before moving to Seton Medical Center Williamson, Dr. Gilmore served as Vice President, Medical Affairs for the SETON Family of Hospitals, and Medical Director for Seton Northwest Hospital.

Prior to joining Seton, Dr. Gilmore was employed by Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston. While there, he served in many capacities including most recently, Vice President/Chief Quality Officer, Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Vice President of Medical Management. And previously, he served as Director of Clinical Quality Improvement and Assistant Vice President of Medical Affairs at Memorial Hospital Southwest. From 1979 to 1993, Dr. Gilmore was in private practice as a board-certified family physician.

Dr. Gilmore earned his Medical Doctorate degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1976. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Centenary College of Louisiana. He completed his post-graduate training and residency in family practice at The University of Texas Medical School Houston (1973), and Memorial Hospital System. In 1998, Dr. Gilmore received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from The University of Texas Medical School of Houston.

Melanie Fox, RN, MSN, NEA-BD

Melanie Fox joined Seton in 2008 when she was named Senior Director for Nursing at Seton Medical Center Williamson and helped to prepare and open Seton's first new hospital with an electronic medical record in all departments. Fox came from Memorial Hermann in Houston where she was the CNO of a 240 bed facility, one of 12 acute care hospitals in the system. Fox spent 29 years at Memorial Hermann in various staff, education and leadership roles including ICU, ED, dialysis, telemetry and 5 years as the Director of Clinical Applications in information systems.
